Description
Build your future with a highly visible, customer-facing engineering team supporting complex aerospace applications and mission-critical electronics. In this Applications Engineer opportunity, you’ll combine electrical engineering expertise with project leadership, proposal support, and hands-on customer/installation engagement across regulated environments.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Applications Engineer position include:
- Minimum 3 years of electrical engineering experience; component-level electrical design experience preferred
- Experience with AC/DC power conversion, LED driver circuits, lighting control electronics, PCB design, schematic capture, prototype testing, qualification testing, and sustaining engineering
- Authoring technical specifications, test procedures, qualification reports, acceptance test procedures, installation documents, operating manuals, technical proposals, and customer-facing engineering documentation
- Lead customer applications from opportunity definition through proposal support, engineering execution, production launch, installation support, and closeout
- Own engineering milestone tracking, including requirements complete, design input complete, proposal technical package complete, design review complete, documentation release, production readiness, installation support, and project closeout
- Standardize customer-facing engineering processes (aircraft survey templates, customer data-request checklists, proposal technical input templates, project action logs, installation-support reports, lessons-learned records)
- Interface directly with customers and coordinate projects across Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Certification, Supply Chain, and Operations
- Eligibility for required U.S. government authorizations under ITAR and EAR export regulations
Salary: $85,000–$110,000 per year, based on experience.
