This 6-Axis Robotics Programmer role brings you into custom, one-off automation projects supporting advanced manufacturing and engineering teams.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this 6-Axis Robotics Programmer position include:
- 4+ years of professional robotics/automation or controls engineering experience.
- Program and troubleshoot industrial robots using teach pendants and offline programming software.
- Develop, test, and simulate robotic applications using FANUC RoboGuide or equivalent simulation platforms.
- Create and modify custom robot programs for material handling, machine tending, assembly, welding, inspection, and other automation processes.
- Diagnose and resolve robot faults, alarms, communication issues, and production stoppages to minimize downtime.
- Recover robots from singularities, reach limitations, collision conditions, and other motion-related issues.
- Integrate and configure automation devices including vision systems, sensors, scanners, and peripherals such as Cognex and Keyence.
- Interface robots with PLCs, HMIs, conveyors, and other production equipment; support commissioning, startup, testing, and production.
Salary: $45.00 to $55.00 Hourly.
