Qualifications and responsibilities for this Certified Commercial HVAC TAB Technician position include:
- 2+ years of commercial HVAC testing, adjusting, and balancing experience
- TAB certification required (TABB, NEBB, or AABC accepted)
- 80–85% field work testing, diagnosing, and verifying air and water systems
- Document findings and prepare reports for final office review
- Experience working on commercial air- and water-balancing projects (hospitals, data centers, specialty testing, and buildings over five stories)
- No repairs required—focus stays on testing, documentation, and system performance verification
- Regular driving throughout Detroit and Toledo; occasional Cleveland assignments
Salary: $40–$50/hour base; plus union pension/total compensation package.
Benefits: Union pension package includes two weeks of PTO; profit-sharing bonus may be negotiable.
