Based in Bloomington, MN, this Senior Software Engineer opportunity lets you lead the planning, design, and development of mission-critical software across embedded firmware and desktop/mobile platforms, with real ownership from concept through post-launch support.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Software Engineer position include:
- 8+ years of progressively demanding experience in embedded firmware and mobile/desktop application development and testing
- Lead planning, design, and development of tools, machines, and accessory product software for new product introduction and improvements
- Provide technical leadership and act as subject matter expert to bring design concepts into production solutions
- Own project-level goals across multiple engineers, breaking down ambiguous tasks into clear milestones
- Mentor engineers (I, II, and III) through complex issues and problems
- Design test plans, perform testing, and provide advanced production line support
- Develop product specifications and transform rough designs into production-ready documentation
- Support department goals, including stage gate reporting, documentation updates, and leadership responsibilities for up to two direct reports
Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
