North Texas commercial construction keeps moving, and this growing metal fabrication and structural steel team in the Ponder/DFW-North Texas area is building the capacity to meet demand. In this Structural Steel Estimator opportunity, you’ll help win and deliver projects by producing accurate, competitive bids for incoming opportunities.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Steel Estimator position include:
- Structural steel estimating experience
- Prepare estimates for structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and scope requirements
- Develop accurate material, labor, fabrication, and installation cost estimates
- Work with internal teams to confirm scope, schedule, and project requirements
- Communicate with clients, GCs, developers, and manufacturers as needed
- Support bid preparation and follow-up on incoming opportunities
- Identify risks, exclusions, clarifications, and value-engineering opportunities
Salary: $75,000 base plus commission; commission potential up to $200,000.
Benefits: Employer-paid employee health insurance after 60 days, a 401(k) with 3% match after 12 months, PTO, and a company-provided laptop/software.
