Bring your mine planning expertise to a hands-on role in Fallon, NV with a silver and gold mining operation where your work directly supports production performance, safety, and operational decision-making. In this Mine Engineer opportunity, you’ll help shape mine plans and schedules while partnering closely with operations leadership and geologists at a site stretching 50 miles In Fallon.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mine Engineer position include:
- 2+ years of mine engineering experience; surface or underground (surface preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field (mine engineering degree preferred)
- Experience with mine software such as Vulcan, Leapfrog, and CAD (Surpac also helpful)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Develop and implement mine plans and designs
- Analyze geological data and production metrics, and develop and monitor production schedules
- Conduct feasibility studies, prepare reports, and ensure compliance
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
