Description
Applications Engineer at a manufacturing facility in Fremont, OH is your chance to help turn customer and internal requests into production-ready parts and documentation. This hands-on role works closely with Engineering, Tool & Die, Quality, Production, and Sales Support, giving you a direct path from requirements to shop-floor execution.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Applications Engineer position include:
- Coordinate product realization for new and revised parts from request through production release.
- Gather and clarify requirements with customer, sales, quality, tooling, and production teams.
- Create and maintain new product packets, job travelers, routing information, work instructions, and supporting documentation.
- Review drawings, specifications, samples, and customer requirements for completeness and manufacturability concerns.
- Support quoting, feasibility, corrective-action, and process-change activity by organizing technical information and feedback.
- Assist with low-complexity machine, fixture, bracket, guard, tooling aid, and process-support design using CAD.
- Maintain organized engineering records and track open product-realization tasks.
- Comfortable working hands-on with manufacturing personnel and learning from the shop floor.
Salary: $68,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Health benefits begin on day 31, with no payroll deduction for medical/pharmacy or dental insurance; vision and ancillary coverages have deductions if elected. 401k starts the first day of the month after 60 days of employment with a company match of 100% up to 3%, plus 50% over 3%, not to exceed 5%, along with standard paid holidays, 48 hours/6 sick days per year prorated first year, and negotiated vacation prorated first year. The safety program includes a prescription safety glasses allowance and safety shoe allowance.
