Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a CNC Programmer in Trenton, OH with a family-owned, rapidly growing advanced manufacturing company known for its clean facility, fast-paced environment, and major expansion underway. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior CNC programming professional who wants to work with extruded aluminum components, automotive-related parts, and newly added equipment in a large 300K+ sq. ft. facility supporting high-volume production growth.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Programmer position include:
- 5+ years of CNC programming experience with G-code, CNC machining, setup, or related trade experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required; machining, manufacturing, trade school training, OJT, or 2-year machining/manufacturing degree preferred
- Experience with Mastercam, manual programming, HAAS controls, Fanuc CNC controls, CAD knowledge, and aluminum machining preferred
- Read and interpret GD&T prints, mechanical drawings, check fixtures, SPC chart data, and quality requirements
- Program mills and lathes, including zero/reference points, tool registers, offsets, compensation, conditional switches, and part program proving
- Make routine dimensional adjustments using work offsets, tool offsets, robotic programming, and manual G-code editing as needed
- Perform CNC program backups, maintain documentation, manage preset room inventory, create reports, and support tool crib/spare parts setup
- Participate in troubleshooting, process monitoring, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, safety procedures, and shift communication
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
