Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus
- EIT certification required; PE license strongly preferred
- 6-10 years of structural engineering experience in building design
- Proficient with AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit and IES is a plus
- Experience designing with wood, steel, concrete, and masonry materials
- Responsible for structural design across various building types, including commercial, residential, educational, and adaptive reuse
- Conduct structural analysis for gravity, wind, and seismic loads; design lateral force-resisting systems
- Produce complete structural drawing packages including plans, sections, and details
- Perform construction administration services including submittal reviews and site observations
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
