Description
Welding Fabrication Skid Manager opportunity in Rhome, TX, with an initial assignment supporting a growing fabrication operation in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex! This is an exciting chance to lead a high-volume production shop for a rapidly expanding steel fabrication company supporting critical infrastructure projects, including data centers, power generation, wind, solar, transmission lines, rebar fabrication, and modular skid packages.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Welding Fabrication Skid Manager position include:
- 7+ years of manufacturing, welding, fabrication, structural steel, or construction production experience with at least 5+ years running crews.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
- Lead daily shop production, welding, fabrication, cutting, bending, punching, assembly, and shipping activities.
- Supervise and support welders, fitters, fabrication personnel, and production crews while maintaining safety as a top priority.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, engineering documents, and project specifications.
- Manage production schedules, manpower planning, material flow, shift changeovers, and shop efficiency.
- Oversee weld quality, fit-up accuracy, dimensional tolerances, workmanship, and quality documentation.
- Help scale the fabrication operation, improve throughput, reduce rework, and build a high-performing, accountable team.
Salary: $100,000 - $170,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
