This Tower Crane Technician opportunity is based in Upper Marlboro, MD and offers hands-on work maintaining and servicing 200–500-foot flat-top tower cranes.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Tower Crane Mechanic/Technician position include:
- 5–10 years of tower crane experience, including prior power-frame experience required
- Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair tower cranes
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic diagnostics
- Assist with crane erection, dismantling, and climbing operations
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable OSHA requirements
- Maintain accurate service and inspection records
- Read electrical and hydraulic schematics; knowledge of ohms law; strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Salary: $75,000-$105,000 per year based off experience
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and 3 weeks of PTO; 401(k) with 3% match after 90 days; company vehicle.
