This Steel Fabrication Foreman opportunity is built for a strong people manager who can keep production moving and develop employees into proficient contributors.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Steel Fabrication Foreman position include:
- 3+ years in a supervisor/leadership role, primarily in steel fabrication
- Hands-on knowledge of steel fabrication, including weld and fabrication experience
- Experience leading and motivating a team of approximately 15–20 employees on a day shift (M–F)
- Ability to manage labor allocation and drive performance through clear, firm leadership
- Experience with tank fabrication is required
- Strong communication and the ability to direct employees to make them proficient
- Proficiency with Excel and Word (basic use; not required to build programs)
- Composure and resolve—able to lead without being swayed and to handle issues directly with ownership when needed
Salary: $28 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Potential overtime may be available, and incentive bonuses are offered if the company is successful.
