Description
Join a growing design-build firm as a Residential Construction Project Manager in New York, New York, where you will help lead mid- to high-end residential renovation projects from early design coordination through construction execution. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, systems-minded leader who wants to make a real impact at a company poised for growth, working closely with leadership to improve workflows, drive accountability, and help shape the future of project delivery across Brooklyn and Manhattan townhomes and condos.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Residential Construction Project Manager position include:
- 3+ years of experience in construction project management, with custom residential renovation experience preferred and strong design coordination or construction administration experience highly valued
- Ability to manage projects from early concept and design coordination through active construction and closeout
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to serve as the intermediary between field teams, leadership, and clients
- Proficiency with Excel and Word required; experience with Monday.com is a plus, and AutoCAD for takeoffs or InDesign experience is helpful but not required
- Lead project execution across design and construction phases, ensuring accountability, follow-through, and resolution of issues across multiple active projects
- Coordinate with site superintendents, in-house crews, leadership, and clients to document decisions, keep projects moving, and maintain clear communication
- Help improve internal systems, workflows, and project delivery processes in a fast-growing design-build environment
- Support renovation projects focused primarily on residential condos and townhomes, with some hospitality work, while contributing to the company’s long-term growth and potential future leadership structure
Salary: $80,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including negotiable PTO, approximately 10 holidays, paid time off from Christmas through New Year’s, and potential bonus opportunities. Medical and retirement benefits are not currently in place but are being explored.
