This Project Superintendent role is based in Mansfield, OH with projects across Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Texas, this opportunity empowers you to lead day-to-day field execution as the job builds momentum over the next year-plus.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Superintendents position include:
- Minimum of 5 years in successful general contracting (as Prime Contractor) and project management for larger than 50,000 sqft industrial/commercial construction projects
- Oversee full-cycle construction activities and coordinate field personnel to deliver completion on schedule with quality workmanship aligned to drawings and specifications
- Maintain and update the construction schedule, identify issues early, and drive resolutions to protect time and budget
- Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectify hazards immediately while ensuring adherence to company safety policy and attendance at safety meetings
- Manage submittals and documentation, including preparing submittal logs and receiving approved submittals while notifying the Project Manager of potential schedule impacts
- Order materials, schedule inspections, and coordinate required construction meetings while preparing accurate meeting minutes and timely distribution
- Support project close-out by preparing required close-out documents and supervising completion of a final punch list
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project (and comparable construction tools)
Salary: $72,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
