Mechanical Engineer offers a clear path from shop-floor process work to expanded design and project responsibilities with a privately owned team in a modern facility.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Engineer position include:
- 0-2 years of experience; candidates straight out of school are welcome
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; related degrees may be considered with similar industry experience
- Start as a process engineer working directly on the shop floor with machinery and operators
- Support manufacturing, finishing, assembly, and test departments
- Address challenges with new and existing products or components and improve workflows
- Apply problem-solving to resolve manufacturing issues and enhance production processes
- Design tooling and fixturing and conduct operator training
- Collaborate with production, Quality, sales, and external vendors to ensure smooth operations
Salary: $50k - $70k per year, commensurate with experience.
