Are you an experienced Cabinet Engineer looking to take your career to the next level in Council Bluffs, IA? Join a growing, family-owned custom interiors company specializing in high-quality commercial architectural casework, custom cabinetry, countertops, and millwork for healthcare, education, multifamily housing, and other commercial projects throughout the Midwest! This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with leadership, oversee an in-house engineer, and play a key role in delivering exceptional custom cabinetry solutions in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Cabinet Engineer position include:
- 1–10 years of cabinet engineering, cabinetry programming, or related experience; flexibility based on technical capabilities
- Proficiency in Cabinet Vision software and experience with ERP systems; familiarity with S2M, custom libraries, UCS programming, or related software is a plus
- Develop accurate shop drawings, cabinet designs, and engineering documentation for standard and custom cabinetry
- Program CNC routers and generate accurate CNC output to support efficient manufacturing and production
- Engineer commercial and multifamily cabinetry, architectural casework, and custom millwork projects
- Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot programming issues, and ensure manufacturing accuracy
- Coordinate production schedules, manage project deadlines, and maintain workflow efficiency
- Report directly to the General Manager and oversee one in-house engineer while collaborating with a team of approximately 20 employees
Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
