Join a well-established architecture firm as a Job Captain in Cleveland, Ohio, where you will play a key role in fast-paced retail, shell, tenant improvement, and ground-up projects from early development through construction documents. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Job Captain position include:
- 3–5 years of architectural experience, ideally in fast-paced retail projects, with commercial building shell experience strongly preferred
- Degree in Architecture or a related architectural field from a 4–5 year university
- Strong production background with experience preparing accurate construction documents through the CD phase
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit in a professional setting; ability to complete a written Revit assessment during the interview process
- Assist project leaders with planning, scheduling, and managing production tasks for assigned projects
- Coordinate drawings, details, consultants, client information, and team activities to support project delivery
- Review shop drawings, write addenda and bulletins, maintain project documentation, and help resolve technical issues
- Support quality assurance efforts, conduct site observations as needed, and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal team members
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
