Description

Take the next step with a mission-driven organization building high-impact healthcare technology, with the chance to support GMP biotherapeutic manufacturing in Fort Worth, TX. This Electrical Automation Engineer opportunity combines technical depth, validation rigor, and project delivery to help bring a new Biotherapeutic Manufacturing Area from installation through sustained operations.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Automation Engineer position include:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Pharmaceutical/Biotech environment, or 1 year within the Automation Engineer 1 role with consistent performance; demonstrated experience in Project Management of automation solutions with proven results.
  • Act as an Automation SME for equipment/systems, troubleshoot operations, and drive efficiency improvements; routinely audit operational performance and regulatory compliance.
  • Translate and execute validation requirements for new and/or modified manufacturing and utilities equipment/systems to ensure GMP availability and validated performance.
  • Participate in FAT, commissioning, IQ/OQ/PQ, Validation Summary Reports, and Part 11 compliance activities as required.
  • Lead one or more automation projects, manage project teams and milestones, manage risks, budget/schedule variance, and change control; complete capital requests and purchase orders as needed.
  • Generate quality documentation including SOPs, Change Controls, URS, Room Specification, validation protocols, job plan instructions, non-conformances, CAPAs, and perform risk/gap assessments.
  • Lead as investigator for change control documentation, deviations/manufacturing non-conformances, and CAPAs; author risk assessments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor junior team members on automation best practices and methodologies.

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
