Take the next step with a construction and development organization building high-quality, climate-controlled self-storage facilities across the East Coast, with a strong culture of collaboration and visible leadership. Construction Superintendent will oversee a fast-moving Quincy, MA project and help deliver a long-term pipeline of work throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Superintendent position include:
- 7+ years of Superintendent experience in ground-up and renovation construction; 10+ years of commercial construction required.
- Manage total construction execution to meet design, budget, schedule, safety, and quality expectations.
- Plan and coordinate daily field activity; look ahead 3-5 weeks and plan upcoming trades.
- Understand dirt-to-finish construction, including foundations, geotechnical coordination, structural steel, MEPs, and subcontractor management.
- Oversee subcontractor work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and staffing levels.
- Resolve field issues and subcontractor disputes while monitoring quality of workmanship and materials.
- Use Procore to prepare and maintain the daily work log and coordinate job status across all trades.
- Serve as onsite liaison with inspection agencies and ensure installation complies with approved contract documents.
Salary: $130,000-$140,000 base per year, plus bonus potential, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Blue Cross Blue Shield with 70% employee coverage; 401(k) with Safe Harbor contribution based on company profitability, currently 3% of base salary.
