In this Construction Project Manager opportunity, you’ll lead ground-up and retail construction efforts across a multi-state portfolio, partnering closely with contractors and executive leadership to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Project Manager position include:
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience involving commercial or retail projects.
- Independently manage multiple projects, including schedules, budgets, permitting, contractors, subcontractors, safety, and quality control.
- Experience with ground-up construction, retail remodeling/tenant improvements, and comparable civil, structural, and site-development work.
- Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and working with CAD drawings or similar construction plans and design software.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and third-party service providers.
- Track progress against project schedules and budgets; proactively identify and resolve issues to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Emphasize safety and quality through site inspections and compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and potentially consecutive workdays during peak season (especially April through July and around July 4).
Salary: $70,000 - $130,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
