This Concrete Project Manager position in Shelby Township, MI offers the opportunity to lead major MDOT and public works projects while working for one of the largest concrete contractors in the state. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Concrete Project Manager position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience) – Lead planning, scheduling, and coordination of heavy civil construction projects.
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure, roadway, or public works projects – Manage projects for MDOT and other government agencies.
  • Strong budgeting and cost control expertise – Oversee project budgets and maintain financial performance.
  • Project lifecycle management experience – Manage project startup, execution, and full closeout processes.
  • Change order management knowledge – Review, prepare, and manage project change orders.
  • Subcontractor and supplier coordination skills – Oversee subcontractor performance and supplier relationships.
  • Client relationship management abilities – Establish and maintain strong relationships with owners and stakeholders while resolving quantity and payment issues.
  • Experience with HCSS Heavy Bid, HCSS Heavy Job, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office – Utilize industry software tools to manage multiple projects effectively.

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
