Bring your refrigeration expertise to a fast-paced, Central Texas service team where accuracy, strong diagnostics, and first-time fixes make a real difference for businesses that can’t afford downtime. This Commercial Refrigeration Technician opportunity is based in the San Antonio/Austin, TX area with an independent service territory that includes New Braunfels and Seguin.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Refrigeration Technician position include:
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on commercial refrigeration experience with advanced diagnostic expertise.
- Independently run and manage service calls on commercial refrigeration systems, including supermarket rack systems, walk-in coolers/freezers, and display cases.
- Diagnose root causes of system failures using strong technical judgment rather than trial-and-error part replacement.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance to a high standard of accuracy and durability.
- Own service calls from first customer contact through confirmed, verified resolution.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to fellow technicians on complex or escalated diagnostic calls.
- Communicate directly and professionally with commercial clients regarding diagnosis, repair scope, and resolution.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and support HVAC service needs as they arise, while keeping refrigeration as the core focus.
Salary: Based on demonstrated skill and experience; signing bonus available for the right candidate.
