CNC Programmer (Siemens NX/Pro Engineer) opportunity in Welcome, NC, just 10 minutes south of Winston-Salem! Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Programmer (Siemens NX/Pro Engineer) position include:
- 5+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Siemens NX and/or PTC Pro/ENGINEER, Creo, CAD/CAM software.
- Create, modify, optimize, simulate, and validate CNC programs for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling and turning machines.
- Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, CNC controller operations, and equipment such as Okuma, Fanuc, Haas, or similar machines.
- Read and interpret 3D CAD models, technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Apply knowledge of materials, tooling, speeds/feeds, and machining techniques for aluminum, stainless steel, and exotic alloys.
- Assist machinists with setups, dry runs, troubleshooting, tooling, fixturing, and machining strategy improvements.
- Maintain setup sheets, tooling instructions, revision control documentation, and support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
