Join an innovative manufacturing company as a CNC Programmer in Allen, Texas, where you will work in a brand-new 95,000-square-foot facility featuring state-of-the-art equipment, a very clean environment, and advanced air scrubber systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled programmer with strong lathe experience to support precision machining for custom prototypes and in-house production at a fiber optical cable company that values advanced technology, high-level machining expertise, and quality craftsmanship.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Programmer position include:
- CNC programming experience required, with ESPRIT programming experience strongly desired.
- Strong lathe programming experience is essential, with experience programming up to 8-axis machines preferred; candidates with up to 5-axis experience may also be considered.
- Experience with lathes, mills, turret machines, horizontal mills, multi-spindle, multi-turret, and live tooling required.
- Solid understanding of CNC machining, precision parts manufacturing, and working with metals including primarily aluminum and some stainless steel.
- SolidWorks experience desired.
- Program and support machining operations for prototype, custom, and production components manufactured in-house.
- Work a first shift schedule with flexibility around 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. while helping maintain machining quality and efficiency.
- Candidates with experience from aerospace companies are especially attractive for this role.
Salary: $40 - $45 per hour, commensurate with experience.
