Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Maintenance Technician position include:
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with a strong focus on CNC machinery; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Strong electrical, PLC, and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience maintaining and repairing CNC lathes, mills, routers, and grinders, including vertical and horizontal machines; familiarity with Haas and Okuma equipment.
- Knowledge of CNC controls, including Fanuc, Haas, and Siemens, along with a solid understanding of CNC operations and programming principles.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, equipment repairs, and installations to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams, maintain accurate maintenance records, and train junior technicians on equipment maintenance and safety procedures.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team while following established safety protocols.
Salary: $26 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience, with higher compensation possible for exceptional candidates.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid long-term disability and life insurance, a 401(k) with a 4% company match, 40 hours of accrued paid time off, and annual performance reviews with opportunities for merit-based raises. The position also offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7 AM to 5 PM.
