Description
Step into a climate-controlled job shop environment where precision metal manufacturing makes a real impact on HVAC and heat pump components. This CNC Machinist opportunity is based in Tyrone, GA, offering a stable 1st shift schedule and the chance to run Haas CNC mills and Okuma lathes.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machinist position include:
- 5-7 years of CNC machining experience preferred, or 3 years with related college/training
- Must have CNC mill and lathe setup/operation experience
- SolidWorks programming experience is a plus
- Set up and operate Haas CNC mills and Okuma lathes
- Operate independently with minimal hand-holding
- Train on specific machines if you have strong separate mill/lathe experience
- Work in a job shop environment (air-conditioned facility)
Salary: $30-$42 per hour.
