Join a highly specialized precision manufacturing team in Burbank, CA as a CNC Machinist on the night shift! This long-standing company produces mission-critical glass-to-metal hermetic seals, connectors, and precision-machined components for aerospace, defense, space exploration, medical, and energy applications, offering strong internal growth, cross-training, and advancement opportunities in a low-turnover environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machinist position include:
- 3–5 years of CNC machining experience, preferably with CNC lathes.
- Experience with dual-spindle lathes is required; Swiss machining experience is a plus.
- Set up experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to read or understand CNC programming is a plus.
- Knowledge of GD&T and inspection tools.
- Perform precision machining of glass-to-metal connectors and related high-reliability components.
- Support quality standards by inspecting work and maintaining accuracy in a precision machine shop environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to ITAR regulations and able to pass a background check and drug test.
Salary: $25 - $33 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including full medical, dental, and vision insurance with three medical plans to choose from and approximately 80% coverage, 11 paid holidays, a 401(k) with a 4.5% match when employees contribute 6%, one week of vacation at 50 hours with increases over time, shift premium of 10% for shifts starting at 4:30pm, overtime opportunities, cross-training, and internal growth opportunities.
