Join a cutting-edge manufacturing company as a CNC Machine Shop Supervisor in Allen, Texas, where you will lead machining operations in a brand-new 95,000-square-foot facility equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, clean working conditions, and advanced air scrubber systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a CNC machining leader who enjoys working with precision aluminum and stainless components, supporting prototype and custom in-house machining, and helping drive production for a fiber optical cable manufacturer with a strong investment in its people and technology.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machine Shop Supervisor position include:
- CNC machining background required with strong understanding of CNC operations, machining processes, and basic G-code or machine code knowledge.
- Programming experience desired, with SolidWorks experience preferred and ERP experience using EVO highly desired.
- Experience machining metals, primarily aluminum with some stainless steel, including precision parts, prototypes, and custom components.
- Previous scheduling experience and the ability to supervise 16 employees across multiple shifts in a high-performance machine shop environment.
- Oversee daily machine shop operations across shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with Friday hours and 50+ hour workweeks including guaranteed overtime.
- Support production planning, workflow scheduling, and team coordination to keep machining operations running efficiently and on schedule.
- Provide hands-on leadership, evaluate machining ability in practical settings, and help maintain quality standards for precision manufacturing.
- Candidates with experience from companies such as Lockheed Martin or Boeing are especially attractive for this role.
Salary: Up to $50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
