Description
Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician—join a long-established commercial HVAC contractor with over 30 years in business, a strong reputation with major customers, and a very high employee retention rate. This role is based in Brooklyn, NY, with a service territory covering NY/NJ and occasional PA travel, offering stable, long-term work where quality and getting jobs done right matter.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Technician position include:
- 10+ years of commercial HVAC experience
- EPA Certification and OSHA 60 Certification
- Experience with VRF systems, chillers, rooftop units (RTUs), equipment start-ups, and preventive maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, service, and repair skills
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and complete accurate service documentation
- Conduct equipment start-ups and commissioning activities
- Travel throughout NY, NJ, and occasionally PA; dispatch from home with a company vehicle
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision; 401(k); PTO (10 days); and company-paid travel expenses for overnight assignments.
