A great opportunity is available for a Civil Project Manager (Design Build) near St. Louis, MO with a well-established, privately owned construction firm that has been delivering heavy civil, sports construction, parks construction, paving, concrete, stabilization, and design-build projects. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of real projects, real P&L, and real authority with a company known for ethics, integrity, client support, internal advancement, and rewarding high-performing project leaders.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Project Manager (Design Build) position include:

  • 5–10 years of progressive construction project management experience, including lead PM ownership of at least one multi-million-dollar project
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent field experience considered
  • Design-build, heavy civil, site work, sports construction, parks construction, asphalt, concrete, or earthwork experience preferred
  • Proficiency with HeavyBid, HCSS, Heavy Job, Microsoft Project, or similar project management platforms, plus strong Excel skills
  • Own the full project lifecycle from preconstruction handoff through closeout, including budget, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction
  • Manage project P&L, buyout strategy, subcontractors, RFQs, bid leveling, pay applications, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and documentation
  • Coordinate with superintendents, field teams, estimating, design, engineering, survey, safety, and accounting while visiting job sites approximately two days per week
  • Serve as the primary client, architect, engineer, and owner contact while leading OAC meetings and protecting long-term client relationships

Salary: $130,000 - $155,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
