An exciting opportunity is available for a Civil Engineering Manager in Oakland Park, FL with a well-established civil engineering firm that has been serving South Florida for more than 45 years. This is a great role for a land development professional who enjoys leading teams, managing client relationships, preparing proposals, and overseeing commercial and residential site development projects with room for long-term growth.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Engineering Manager position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
- Florida PE license preferred, but not required
- Experience with land development projects, including commercial and residential site development
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, hydrology, stormwater management, and drainage studies
- Ability to manage civil designers, mentor junior staff, and oversee a small team
- Lead design and engineering for grading, drainage, utilities, roadway design, and site development projects
- Prepare and review proposals, scopes, budgets, schedules, reports, calculations, plans, and permitting documents
- Meet with clients, support regulatory compliance, and guide projects through entitlement and permitting processes
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
