Qualifications and responsibilities for this Carpenter position include:

  • 1–2+ years of residential carpentry, plumbing, electrical, roofing, or heating experience; perform home repairs in five major skill areas with proficiency in at least three
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot residential repair issues; complete jobs within established time estimates
  • High school diploma or equivalent; maintain accurate job, time, and travel records
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable truck or van with ladder rack and required insurance; travel 25–30 miles from Cincinnati to job sites
  • Strong construction math skills; read tape measures, work orders, and material instructions accurately
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in outdoor and physically demanding environments; maintain tools and equipment in good repair
  • Strong interpersonal skills; relate well to people of diverse backgrounds and work both independently and on a team
  • Tech savvy and comfortable using a tablet; regularly train others in major skill areas as needed
