Description
Join a well-established architecture and design firm as an Architect II in Cleveland, Ohio, where you will contribute to meaningful hospitality, retail, and public/municipal projects while growing your leadership skills in a fully in-office setting. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Architect with strong technical expertise and project experience who wants to work for a company known for integrity, innovation, mentorship, and a commitment to designing tomorrow’s environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Architect II position include:
- Registered Architect in Ohio
- Minimum 7+ years of experience, with a portfolio required showing work in hospitality, retail, and/or public/municipal projects.
- Must be local to Cleveland and able to work in a fully in-office role.
- Develop design and technical solutions independently or under general direction while supporting projects from pre-design through construction administration.
- Assist with project scope, work plans, schedules, staffing needs, and progress monitoring to help ensure project requirements are met.
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, code research, and cost estimate coordination while maintaining technical accuracy and constructability.
- Manage bid processes, shop drawing reviews, contractor communications, and issue resolution during construction.
- Mentor interns and other team members, coordinate with outside consultants and other disciplines, and support business development efforts.
Salary: $70,000 - $106,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
