Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician (Tech I) looking for an exciting night shift opportunity in Clarksville, TN? Join an established, growing PVC pipe manufacturer that has been producing high-quality products for plumbing, irrigation, municipal, and wastewater infrastructure! Qualifications and responsibilities for this Maintenance Technician (Tech I) position include:
- High school diploma or GED required; two years of relevant industrial maintenance experience, training, or education preferred, with a strong industrial electrical background highly desirable.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, including AC/DC motors, wiring, and electrical components; ability to measure ohms, amps, and volts and understand NEMA codes.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including valves, cylinders, and pumps.
- Perform metal fabrication using electric arc welding equipment and cutting torches, along with drill presses, grinders, and band saws.
- Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, including bearings, shafts, pulleys, reduction and distribution gearboxes, and transmissions.
- Read and accurately use depth gauges, calipers, micrometers, and tape measures for basic machining and fabrication.
- Support safe, efficient operation of production equipment and PVC extrusion lines, follow PPE requirements, and perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights; willingness to train on day shift before transitioning to the night shift.
Salary: $30–$36 per hour, commensurate with experience.
