This Survey Department Director opportunity blends department management, quality oversight, and business growth in a results-focused culture.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Survey Department Director position include:
- PLS with demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to grow the survey business.
- Ability to improve standard operating procedures and strengthen QA/QC processes.
- Oversee both field and office operations, including field audits and project checks.
- Provide technical guidance and add PLS capacity to support a busy existing license holder.
- Build client relationships and pursue opportunities to expand the local survey practice.
- Coordinate with engineering, water resources, conservation, and planning teams.
- Support effective use of survey equipment and technology, including Trimble and Autodesk Civil 3D.
Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
