Are you an experienced Project Architect looking for an exciting leadership opportunity in Madison, WI, with a hybrid schedule that includes two days per week in Milwaukee? This is a rare opportunity to work on commercial projects, mentor talented architects, help expand the firm's presence in Madison, and potentially lead its future Madison office!
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Architect position include:
- Bachelor's or professional degree in Architecture with at least 10 years of architectural experience, including commercial projects.
- Registered Architect (RA) license preferred but not required.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, architectural construction documents, project specifications, and technical design coordination.
- Lead and mentor junior architectural staff while assisting project managers with scheduling, coordination, and project delivery.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines, subconsultants, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and review architectural drawings, Revit models, specifications, and construction documents for accuracy and quality.
- Dedicate approximately 15% of your time to business development, networking, and building client relationships in the Madison market.
- Work a hybrid schedule with three days remote in the Madison area and two days in the Milwaukee office, with long-term potential to lead the future Madison office.
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Potential performance-based bonus.
