Bring your mechanical design expertise to Roanoke, TX and help build large equipment that actually performs in the field. In this Senior Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer opportunity, you’ll own hands-on mechanical design work and collaborate closely with the head engineer and the people building the machines—turning concepts into fabrication-ready, test-validated components.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer position include:
- 5+ years of mechanical/manufacturing engineering experience with strong equipment or component design
- Expert-level Solid Edge with strong 2D and 3D CAD experience
- CREO experience
- Designed heavy equipment or machinery and followed designs through fabrication, assembly, and hands-on testing to verify real-world performance
- Comfort working directly with shop/assembly-floor employees, identifying design/assembly issues, and communicating corrections
- Design parts/components for large trenchers alongside the head engineer, from concept/design through drafting, fabrication, assembly, testing, and field-ready completion
- Evaluate designs for manufacturability, functionality, and practical field use; troubleshoot and modify designs when equipment/components don’t perform as intended
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience and education.
