In this New Product Development Manufacturing Engineer opportunity, you’ll help take elastomeric products from prototype through commercialization and into high-volume production.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this New Product Development Manufacturing Engineer position include:
- Over 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing/fabrication processes such as injection molding, CNC machining, assembly, or 3D printing.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD modeling software such as SolidWorks or Verisurf.
- Working knowledge of statistical software such as Minitab and statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
- Lead elastomeric products (including EPDM, NBR, FKM, and Liquid Silicone Rubber) from prototype through commercialization.
- Partner with toolmakers to design, procure, and validate injection and compression molds; optimize gating, venting, and cycle times.
- Create PFMEA, control plans, SOPs, and IQ/OQ/PQ validation documentation; troubleshoot production issues and support Lean/Six Sigma cost-reduction initiatives.
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
