In this Metallurgical Engineer opportunity, you’ll support the design, development, and optimization of metal components and the manufacturing processes that bring them to life.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Metallurgical Engineer position include:
- 5+ years of experience in metal forming, stamping, or part manufacturing
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or experience equivalency
- Lead development and optimization of metal forming and drawing processes for high-volume production
- Design and support tooling, including dies, fixtures, and forming tools required for production
- Own projects from concept, design, tooling development, and production implementation
- Work directly on the shop floor to validate designs, troubleshoot tooling, and support production needs
- Troubleshoot forming issues and implement corrective actions to increase throughput and reduce scrap
- Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings and documentation, including tolerance analysis and GD&T
Salary: $80K-$90K per year, commensurate with experience.
