Exciting opportunity for an experienced In-House General Contractor in Boca Raton, FL, to take the lead on exceptional luxury residential construction projects throughout Palm Beach County! Join a growing real estate development company building stunning $4 million to $5 million spec homes, with approximately 10–15 homes completed annually. This is a rare opportunity to bring construction operations in-house, work directly with ownership, enjoy tremendous autonomy, and eventually build your own construction team while overseeing some of South Florida's most impressive luxury residences!
Qualifications and responsibilities for this In-House General Contractor position include:
- Active Florida General Contractor license with the ability to qualify the company for construction operations.
- Proven experience independently managing 4–5 residential construction projects simultaneously, preferably luxury spec or custom homes valued at $4 million or more.
- Preferably 3–5+ years of experience in the South Florida construction market with established relationships among local subcontractors and trades.
- Background with a production homebuilder or corporate residential construction company strongly preferred, bringing efficient scheduling, operational structure, and high-volume construction experience.
- Oversee all phases of luxury residential construction, including daily job-site operations, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, permitting, inspections, and quality control.
- Manage approximately five concurrent luxury home projects, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship, efficient execution, and timely project completion.
- Collaborate directly with ownership, coordinate construction progress, participate in occasional bidding activities, and handle limited client interactions.
- Help establish streamlined in-house construction processes, maintain compliance with Florida building codes, and eventually assist in developing and leading an internal construction team.
Salary: $180,000 - $200,000+ per year, commensurate with experience. Additional project performance bonuses.
