This Interior Designer opportunity in Greenville or New Bern, NC lets you own the full design process—from consultation through final specifications—while building relationships that drive long-term success.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Interior Designer position include:
- 2-5 years of kitchen, bath, or interior design experience with the ability to require minimal training
- Create layouts and produce detailed kitchen and bath designs using 2020 Design proficiency
- Measure job sites for precise dimensions and manage projects from initial consultation through final delivery
- Prepare quotes based on client design requirements and material selections
- Confirm appliance specifications to ensure proper integration with the overall design
- Provide high-touch, customer-focused service across multiple active projects
- Develop new business by building and servicing builder accounts and identifying leads
- Communicate effectively with clients and incorporate product knowledge and current industry trends into designs
Salary: $42K-$50K base plus commission; approximately $75K year-one potential with $100k+ potential in year two
