Big-city construction is where execution matters most, and NYC’s five-borough pace is delivering major commercial mechanical work that needs experienced field leaders. This Mechanical Construction Project Manager opportunity is built for hands-on managers who can run large-scale mechanical piping projects onsite and keep finances and labor on track.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Project Managers position include:
• Minimum 8+ years of construction project management experience, with direct mechanical piping experience
• Manage large commercial mechanical construction projects valued at approximately $20 million or more
• Oversee project budgets, costs, financial performance, and overall profitability
• Coordinate and monitor field labor, including union trades (union experience is a plus)
• Maintain a consistent presence at active NYC job sites across the five boroughs
• Use SharePoint and other project-management systems to organize documentation and communicate project information
• Ensure piping work is completed according to drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality expectations
Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 per year, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate.
