Qualifications and responsibilities for this Sr. Excavation Foreman position include:
- Experience as a Foreman, Lead Operator, Field Manager, Construction Manager, or similar field leadership role with strong hands-on heavy equipment operation.
- Lead daily field operations on excavation, grading, landfill, environmental, erosion control, and site development projects while supervising field crews and subcontractors.
- Operate excavators, dozers, skid steers, tractors, loaders, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret grading plans, site drawings, project specifications, and execute dirt work, drainage, pipe installation, culverts, building pads, and final grading.
- Coordinate daily crew assignments, equipment, trucking, materials, and production goals while communicating progress to company leadership.
- Maintain jobsite safety, organization, quality, and professionalism while mentoring developing operators and supporting a positive team culture.
- GPS machine control or Trimble experience and CDL are preferred but not required; the company is willing to invest in the right candidate.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed, with occasional overnight travel.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000+ per year, commensurate with experience.
