This Sr. Excavation Foreman opportunity is based in Oberlin, OH, with travel to regional project sites, and offers the chance to lead specialized excavation, landfill, environmental, grading, and site development projects while playing a key role in the company's continued growth. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Sr. Excavation Foreman position include:

  • Experience as a Foreman, Lead Operator, Field Manager, Construction Manager, or similar field leadership role with strong hands-on heavy equipment operation.
  • Lead daily field operations on excavation, grading, landfill, environmental, erosion control, and site development projects while supervising field crews and subcontractors.
  • Operate excavators, dozers, skid steers, tractors, loaders, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret grading plans, site drawings, project specifications, and execute dirt work, drainage, pipe installation, culverts, building pads, and final grading.
  • Coordinate daily crew assignments, equipment, trucking, materials, and production goals while communicating progress to company leadership.
  • Maintain jobsite safety, organization, quality, and professionalism while mentoring developing operators and supporting a positive team culture.
  • GPS machine control or Trimble experience and CDL are preferred but not required; the company is willing to invest in the right candidate.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed, with occasional overnight travel.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000+ per year, commensurate with experience.
