Join a fast-growing mechanical contractor as a Mechanical Estimator in Fort Myers, FL, where you’ll help drive the next phase of growth for a company that has expanded from $5M to $10M in recent years. This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-driven HVAC/mechanical estimating professional to bid larger commercial projects, build strong GC partnerships, and grow into a future leadership role with a company known for clean workmanship, clear communication, and strong Southwest Florida roots.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Estimator position include:
- 5–10+ years of mechanical, HVAC, or commercial construction estimating experience preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including chiller work, VRF systems, tonnage, budgeting, and negotiated work
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with general contractors and support business development efforts
- Estimate and bid commercial mechanical projects, including TI work, hotels, and larger HVAC projects
- Prepare budgets, takeoffs, proposals, and negotiated project pricing
- Use On-Screen Takeoff, Excel-based estimating tools, or similar estimating software
- Work primarily from the Fort Myers office at least 3–4 days per week
- Support company growth with the opportunity to advance into a director-level role overseeing future team members
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000+ per year, commensurate with experience.
