A rapidly growing aerospace and defense manufacturer is seeking a Quality Engineer in Huntersville, NC! This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-expanding AS9100-certified operation supporting critical hardware for solid rocket motors and missile defense systems, with strong long-term growth potential into quality leadership as the company scales.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Engineer position include:
- Experience with AS9100 quality systems and aerospace/defense manufacturing requirements.
- Support first article inspection documentation and data packages in accordance with AS9102.
- Prepare, review, and submit End Item Data Packages and quality documentation through customer portals.
- Help administer and mature the Quality Management System, including procedures, records, audit readiness, and compliance documentation.
- Develop inspection plans, templates, control plans, and support production and inspection activities.
- Manage or support NCR, RMA, CAPA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Experience with AutoCAD, metrology software, JobBOSS, or UniPoint is a plus.
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person for ITAR compliance; aerospace experience is a major plus.
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
