Description
This MEP Director opportunity in Dallas, TX is a high-impact leadership role with a full-service engineering and environmental consulting firm providing creative, cost-effective solutions across Texas and the U.S. This is an excellent opportunity for a Texas-licensed PE to oversee a growing MEP team, help expand project capacity, and make a direct impact on commercial, industrial, and residential engineering projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this MEP Director position include:
- 5+ years of related MEP experience with a Professional Engineering License in the State of Texas.
- Oversee MEP staff and projects while ensuring alignment with company strategy, commitments, goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Sign plans and provide technical direction for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
- Manage, coach, train, and support the engineering team, including involvement in recruiting and employee evaluations.
- Provide project management support, including resource allocation, scope definition, quality assurance, and client communication.
- Assist with design and production using Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related engineering tools.
- Support sales efforts by helping develop proposals, provide technical guidance, and assist in identifying markets.
- Maintain strong client relationships, resolve project issues, and communicate with regulatory authorities as needed.
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health insurance with individual coverage paid on certain plans, a 401(k) with a 3% match plus an additional half match up to 5%, negotiable PTO based on experience and tenure, quarterly bonus potential typically ranging from $1,000 to $4,000 based on division goals, and a hybrid schedule with three days in office.
