Qualifications and responsibilities for this Landscape Architect position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field – Develop detailed landscape design plans and technical drawings for commercial and land development projects.
- 3–5 years of professional landscape architecture or design experience – Contribute to the design of neighborhood entrances, amenity centers, and commercial outdoor environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and LandFX – Produce planting plans, site layouts, sections/elevations, renderings, and hardscape details.
- Strong knowledge of plant materials – Select and integrate appropriate plant palettes into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.
- Experience with land development or commercial design-build projects preferred – Support project planning and collaborate with engineers, developers, and builders.
- Ability to prepare material takeoffs and support estimating efforts – Assist project managers with accurate project deliverables and budgets.
- Strong rendering, illustration, or visualization skills (Adobe Creative Suite or SketchUp preferred) – Present clear and compelling design concepts to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and conduct occasional site visits – Evaluate site conditions and refine designs based on real-world factors.
Salary: $100,000+ per year, commensurate with experience.
