Travelling Mechanical Field Lead opportunity in Alabama! Join a well-established institutional equipment provider with over 50 years of experience serving schools, athletic facilities, hospitals, and organizations nationwide. This is an exciting chance to take the lead on field installations for athletic equipment, flooring, stadium seating, and more while working with a growing company that values quality craftsmanship, customer satisfaction, and career advancement into Project Management or Field Installation Management.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Travelling Mechanical Field Lead position include:
- 3–5 years of installation, construction, or mechanical field experience, preferably within athletic equipment, K-12, GC, or institutional facility markets.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in an installation-related field is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency using hand and power tools, plus the ability to take precise job site measurements.
- Coordinate and supervise daily field operations, installation crews, subcontractors, and HIS team members.
- Perform and support installations of company products including athletic equipment, flooring, stadium seating, and related indoor and outdoor products.
- Conduct site visits to assess installation readiness, monitor progress, and help leadership determine project priorities.
- Serve as a liaison between Project Managers and the Installation Coordination team while maintaining clear communication with customers.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and in alignment with company and customer standards.
Salary: $72,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a $300 monthly car allowance, fuel reimbursement, $50 per day per diem for each night spent at a hotel, and paid hotel costs.
