Join an established underground utilities contractor in Nashville, TN as an Underground Utilities Foreman! This is an exciting opportunity to help build major fiber networks across the Nashville market with a company that has been in business for 30 years, offers years of backlog, works with top-tier clients, and provides strong growth opportunities as it expands into new markets.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Underground Utilities Foreman position include:
- Minimum 3 years of underground utilities, fiber, excavation, or related field supervision experience.
- Supervise crews of approximately 6-10 people, including excavator crews and subcontractors.
- Oversee daily field operations for fiber network construction projects in Nashville, Murfreesboro, Franklin, and surrounding areas.
- Ensure crews understand how to avoid damaging existing underground utilities.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and answer questions about work being performed.
- Attend virtual meetings and daily video calls with back-office staff to provide project updates.
- Use an in-house application to record daily work completed; Excel and Bluebeam experience is a plus.
- Report to laydown yards, travel between job sites, and support efficient coordination of field activities.
Salary: $1,400 per week, commensurate with experience.
