Join a long-established precision manufacturing company in Fremont, CA as a Quality Assurance Manager! This is an exciting opportunity to lead quality operations for a collaborative, safety- and customer-focused organization that has been in business since 1992, supports major clients in advanced industries, and offers a strong community-driven culture centered on teamwork, continuous improvement, and product excellence.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Assurance Manager position include:
- 7+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment, with 3+ years leading quality teams or multiple quality functions.
- Lead and manage Quality Control, Quality Engineering, QMS, and First Article Inspection activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, customer requirements, and regulatory quality standards.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using tools such as 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, MRB, SCAR, and RCCA.
- Oversee quality metrics including PPM, scrap, rework, COPQ, audit performance, and FAI turnaround.
- Manage supplier quality performance, customer quality issues, complaints, RMAs, audits, and formal responses.
- Apply strong knowledge of CNC machining, precision manufacturing, GD&T, inspection methods, metrology systems, and CMM.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and production teams to improve quality, efficiency, and compliance.
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
